Teaser Tuesdays #10

This weeks teaser is from The Selection by Kiera Cass.

I finished this book yesterday and I loved it. This was surprise because after all the different things I had been hearing, I wasn't expecting to. But I did and here is my review.

My breath caught in my throat. I’d just walked into the situation I feared. No guards, no cameras, no one to stop him from doing whatever he wanted. Knee-jerk reaction. Literally. I kneed His Majesty in the thigh. Hard.´ - page 145
I know that is quite a long one but I found this moment funny. I know what your thinking, she missed. She didn't actually. But don't get the wrong opinion of Maxon; he is actually a really nice guy. America just got the wrong idea.

If you want to join in it's really easy. All you have to do is:

  • Get the book you are currently reading.
  • Share teasers sentences. Remember to wary of spoilers; don't want to ruin the book for those who have not read it yet.

    In the thigh? Well, I guess it could have been worse for His Majesty! I love the gown on the cover of this book -- ultra-feminine.
