Stacking the Shelves #19

Meme Hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Bought

Around this time of year is my birthday. I am not saying the specific date but it is around this time. So I got some goodies!

  •  Unwholly (Unwind #1) by Neal Shusterman *Goodreads*
  • Uglies (Uglies #1) by Scott Westerfield *Goodreads*
  • Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna #1) by Kendare Blake *Goodreads*
  • Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally *Goodreads*
  • The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel Manga by Cassandra Clare and Hyekyung Baek *Goodreads*
  • Shift (Shade #2) by Jeri Smith-Ready *Goodreads*
  • Shine (Shade #3) by Jeri Smith-Ready *Goodreads*
  • What's Left of Me (The Hybrid Chronicles #1) by Kat Zhang *Goodreads*

I enjoyed Shade and I was interested to see where the series is going. Although I am a little bit disappointed with Shift at the moment.

I am intrigued by Unwholly. I love Unwind but I didn't think it needed a sequel. So I am curious.

As it is Halloween time everyone is talking about creepy books. I have lost count of the number of times I have seen Anna Dressed in Blood come up. I have to see what this book is all about.

Uglies is one of the first books I discovered and added to my list back in 2009, when I first discovered the wonderful world of the online book community. I cannot believe that it has taken this long for me to get a copy but I really like the new covers.

 Happy reading!

Becky

  3. I truly LOVE that cover of Anna Dressed in Blood! I think the red dress fits nicely with the story vs the white dress the US cover has!

I read the first two books in Jeri's trilogy, it wasn't really for me, but I still hope you enjoy it!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  5. WOW!! Look at all those amazing books! That's insane! I've heard so many great things about Anna Dressed in Blood too, but I haven't read it yet. Same with Catching Jordan/Stealing Parker. Unfortunately I wasn't crazy about What's Left of Me. :( I wanted to love that book so much but I just couldn't get into it. Most people seem to love it though.

    Enjoy all your new books!
