I have heard many good things about Tiger's Curse. I was shocked to see it on the shelves in a UK bookshop (before I've only seen it online or when I was in America), I just had to buy it. The woman behind the counter said she had received it for review and they wanted to create a buzz in the UK around it but it didn't work. I think we only get buzzes for books that are about to be turned into movies.
While I am not a huge fan of the Chemical Garden series, it has it strong and week moments, I am interested to see how it ends.
Everneath intrigued me. I hope Everbound intrigues me further.
Now I have heard nothing but amazing things for Hopeless. Everyone is saying I should read it. So I bought it on Kindle. I really enjoyed Slammed so I hope it is just as good or even better.
Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteTiger's Curse looks good. I also wasn't much of a Chemical Garden fan, but I hope you enjoy Sever.

Great haul! I haven't started Bloodlines, The Chemical Garden or the Everneath series yet although I own the first/second books for the series :S OMG Hopeless is AMAZING - everyone is telling you truths, lol. I just finished Slammed & Point of Retreat and I have to say Hopeless is better than both of them! It will pick at your heart :P I hope you enjoy everything and I can't wait to see what you think of Hopeless! Happy Reading.

I loved Hopeless. I agree with everybody else it is amazing. Everybody kept raving over it and I was sure I wouldn't like it, but I loved it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all of your other books. They are all ones I still need to read.

Tiger's Curse is an absolutely awesome novel. I hope you enjoy it. (Warning: Tissues! You'll need them! But it's worth it!) I'm planning to pick up Bloodlines when I go shopping this week. No idea why I took so long to do that, but it is what it is. I also wonder if I should check out Everneath? (I'm so far behind on everything. Eeek!)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, enjoy all your new books. Have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by my STS! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Sever. The book was sooo depressing, makes me feel like I wasted my time on the series. Can't wait to read Hopeless and the Everneath series.
ReplyDeleteWow, such a great haul. All, but one, is on my TBR list, and hopeless was pure awesomeness.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read Everbound, since I really liked Everneath. Happy reading :D

I love your new books! I personally LOVED Tiger's Curse, but then the series went downhill for me. :( I hope you like the series more than I did! But Everbound and Hopeless are super good!

If you enjoyed Everneath, I am sure you will like Everbound. It does a great job of explaining about the Everneath and has a few crazy twists-and-turns.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant books! Hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteHopeless is simply amazing! I also bought The Indigo Spell this week :) Enjoy :)

I'm super excited to finally get to read Sever, but kind of sad for the series to be over. I just got the Bloodlines, and I've heard great things about the series, so I'm super excited to start reading it!

Sometimes a cigar IS just a cigar, and unless/until I see the movie, can't comment on ASTRO BOY in particular, but. I find it understandable that Rob would think the association was polticially-tinged. After all, the movie IS coming out in 2009, and in 2009, "Red state/Blue louis vuitton outlet state" does have certain connotations. AND, at least IMHO, it is pretty much the case that when a movie contains a political message these days, you replica watches uk can guess which side of the political spectrum is going to be treated rolex replica sympathetically.
