Stacking the Shelves #8

Meme Hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Bought
  •  Deadly Hemlock (Hemlock #1) by Kathleen Peacock *Goodreads*
  • Dreamless (Starcrossed #2) by Josephine Angelini *Goodreads*
  • Matched (Matched #1) by Ally Condie *Goodreads*

I have heard really good things about Hemlock and I am so glad to finally get my hands on a copy. I am really looking forward to it. Deadly Hemlock is the UK title.

Matched was a bit of a spontaneous buy. I have heard very mixed things about it and some of the negative things I had heard put me off. However, I have always been intrigued by the story so I downloaded the sample on my Kindle. I ended up really enjoying it so I downloaded the whole book. I am currently reading it now.

  1. I really liked Matched, so I hope you enjoy that one! :) Also, I haven't read Starcrossed by Josephine yet, but it sounds really good, and I read Hemlock, which was amazing! :)

  2. Those are some pretty sweet titles! I still really want to read Hemlock and Starcrossed. Matched was pretty okay, it was just Crossed that was pretty bad. You could literally skip that buy and go straight to the last book and not miss much!

  8. Matched is excellent, but like many other people I felt Crossed was lacking. I envy you on getting a copy of Dreamless. And I am super eager to read Hemlock, although I think I like the US cover better.

  9. Ohh very cool! I hope you like Matched! I literally just bought it too. I'm not sure when I'll start reading it, but hopefully soon :) I have also read a lot of mixed reviews. In fact, just the other day I read a review by someone who gave it like 1 or 2 stars. So I hope we both love it!

  16. I have been wanting to read Matched for a while now - I had it from library in Finnish, but since I hate reading in Finnish I took it back there.
    Happy reading! :)
