and

Divergent #3 by Veronica Roth
No Cover, no title and no release date!
I am just hoping that book is released in 2013 and I don't have to wait any longer.
The cliff hanger was a killer.

With the exception of the last book, all of these books come out in the first half of the year. I wonder what delights are to be discovered.

Stacking the Shelves #20

Meme Hosted by Tynga's Reviews

I know that I have not been posting recently but I am really busy this month with Uni work. I bearly have time to get anything else done, especially reading, nevermind writing blog posts. But I have made time to share what books I received this week.

Bought

  • Bitter Blood (Morganville Vampires #13) by Rachel Caine *Goodreads*
  • Days of Blood and Starlight (Daughter of Smoke and Bone #2) by Laini Taylor *Goodreads*
  • Poison Princess (The Arcana Chronicles #1) by Kresley Cole *Goodreads*

I cannot believe that we are onto book 13 in the Morganville vampire series. Not many series get that far and still remain strong. I am currently reading it, when I get a chance, and I am loving it so far.

I did not realise Days of Blood and Starlight would be as big as it is. I am looking forward to starting this one.

Poison Princess also looks pretty interesting so I spent my loyalty points on it. It cost be a grand total of £1.75.

    Back to work.

    Waiting on Wednesday #8

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme, showcasing books that we are waiting to read.

Title: Bitter Blood (The Morganville Vampires #13)
    Author: Rachel Caine
    Publisher: NAL
    Pages: 352
    Release Date: 6th November 2012

Thanks to the eradication of the draug, the vampires of Morganville have been freed of their usual constraints. With the vampires indulging their every whim, the town’s human population is determined to hold onto their lives by taking up arms. But college student Claire Danvers isn’t taking sides, considering she has ties to both humans and vampires. To make matters worse, a television show comes to Morganville looking for ghosts, just as vampire and human politics collide. Now, Claire and her friends have to figure out how to keep the peace without ending up on the nightly news…or worse.
The Morganville Vampire series is one of my favourite series'. I am always eagerly anticipating the upcoming release. I cannot believe that we are up to book 13 and the series is still going strong. Not complaining.

What books are you waiting for?

It's Monday! What are you reading? #2

    Hosted by Book Journey
Last week was hectic. I had work to finish and I read three books that I couldn't wait for. Definitely going to have to slow up now as I have exams. Will not be able to be as active on the blog but hopefully I can keep up with the weekly memes but no promises. Cannot wait for Summer! Plenty of time then to get some reading done.

    On the blog last week
    What I have just finished
City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments #5) by Cassandra Clare

This book is released tomorrow so not long to wait for everyone else. I got it early and, I'm sorry, but I wasn't going to wait for everyone else. I love it!! Hopefully everyone else will too. My review will be up tomorrow. Now I have to wait two years for City of Heavenly Fire. *Thinks thoughts of Clockwork Princess, which is out sooner, to stay sane.*

Black Dawn (The Morganville Vampires #12) by Rachel Caine
Another book that I really enjoyed and just finished yesterday. I love the Morganville Vampires still and the way this book ended ... oooh looking forward to the next one.

    Currently Reading

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer
Heard some good things about this one. I like the concept. Hopefully lives up to my expectations.
    To Read Next
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #1) by Michelle Hodkin
With the recent cover reveal of the sequel, it has been playing on mind that I still need to read Mara Dyer 1. So I have decided to read it next. Looking forward to it.

    Stacking the Shelves #1

    Meme Hosted by Tynga's Reviews

After reading up around the drama that hit the book blogging community a couple of weeks ago, I have decided not to participate in "In My Mailbox" anymore. Instead I have decided to move to Stacking the Shelves where I will be showing what books I have got.

I have only got four books in the past two weeks but this has to be one of the best book weeks of the year so far.

Three books, that I couldn't wait, for in one week!!

    Bought from Amazon.co.uk
    •  The Immortal Rules (Blood of Eden #1) - Julie Kagawa *Goodreads*
    • Insurgent (Divergent #2) - Veronica Roth *Goodreads*
    • Black Dawn (The Morganville Vampires # 12) -Rachel Caine *Goodreads*

    Bought from Bookshop.
    • City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments #5) - Cassandra Clare *Goodreads*

I have already read The Immortal Rules, Insurgent and COLS. Now I am reading Black Dawn.

You can find my review for Insurgent here.
You can find my review for The Immortal Rules here.

I absolutely love Insurgent and City of Lost Souls. Even though I am in the middle of uni work, having to meet a lot of deadlines and exams looming, I still managed to read both of them in a day each (Not together. Two 500 pages books in one day is a bit much for me). 5 Stars!!!

I am aware that there is an embargo on City of Lost Souls. I was very shocked when I walked into my local bookshop to see a massive pile available. I'm sorry but it's COLS. I wasn't going to wait. Screwed up my plans for that day. I started reading at 15:00 and finished at about 22:00. Could not put it down!! Same could be said for Insurgent. Didn't stop reading until I was finished.

I also enjoyed The Immortal Rules although not as much as the other two books.

As for Black Dawn, not that I don't love Morganville Vampires, but this has been a bit of a crazy week for both work and books. I haven't got round to sitting down and properly reading it. Now that everything has calmed down, I can sit back and read. I have only read a few chapters but I am enjoying it so far.

What books did you get this week?
