Q: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

Well my usual genre is YA novels. I also read NA novels too but I have always seem to put them together.
Edit: NA stands for New Adult. Books with college age characters.

When I am not reading YA/NA, I like to read Paranormal Romance or Urban Fantasy. My favourite series' have to be The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward and Midnight Breeds series by Lara Adrian.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood series has to my favourite adult paranormal series. I love delving back into the brothers' world with each book. 

Finally!! It is Quinn and Blay's book. I have been wanting for these two to get together. J.R. Ward always kept hush hush about whether this will happen; maybe unsure whether to have the lead romance being a gay couple when all the others are straight. I don't care! I love gay couples and I have been rooting for these two for ages. The title is very fitting.

This is my first ever Feature and Follow and I can't wait to see all the great blogs out there.

Question:
Fight! Fight! If you could have two fictional characters battle it out (preferably from books), who would they be and who do you think would win?

The two characters that I would pick, to go head to head, would be Payne and Xhex from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. These two are the kickass female warriors of the series and I think it would lead to an interesting fight. I would love to see more of Payne. I don't know her well enough as a character, not even after Lover Unleased (which was her book). 

While both well trained in combat and have hellrens to fight for :D, I think Xhex would have the advantage here. She has symphath abilities plus bit more practise. Payne has kind of been under lock and key for most of her life. It would be a close call though :)
