Reading Plan #21













Wow I have not done one of these in a long time. Second year uni work takes up a lot more of time than I thought it was going to. Along with exams and Christmas, not a lot of reading has happened in that time. I am planing to get right back into the swing of things now. I hope I can keep it up this time.

Finished

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

I have enjoyed these two authors in the past and it was another jem to read. I enjoyed this one.

The classic Beth Revis mystery has started to pick up. Really enjoying it.

 Derailed (Clayton Falls #1) by Alyssa Rose Ivy

I received this book as part of the book tour. With nothing on this week I hope I can read this in time for the post. It is currently free on Kindle.

Reading Plan #20














Ok my reading plans have been completely out of whack. You think you know what you will be reading next but suddenly you don't feel like it or you have something else to read. So this is my plan for reading as of now. Whether it will remain this way no one knows.

Unfortunatly I probably won't be able to post much this week as I have a deadline coming up for which I am behind. I would much rather be online talking about books. 

On the Blog Last Two Weeks

After the chaos that was a few weeks, I haven't posted much recently that hasn't been my weekly instalments. 
What I Have Just Finished

Fire and Thorns (Fire and Thorns #1) by Rae Carson

I heard very good things about this book and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunatly it didn't work for me. I like the plot but I just couldn't connect with any of the characters. There was a lack of emotion and feelings. People die but there is very little reaction from Elisa. Only 3 star I am afraid.

Currently Reading
Shade (Shade #1) by Jeri Smith-Ready

I only started this yesterday but it is off to a good start. I plan to read the sequels too if I enjoy this one.

To Read Next 

Death and the Girl Next Door (Darklight #1) by Darynda Jones
 
If I enjoy Shade I plan to buy the other two books in the series and read those. However if I don't enjoy Shade (I hope do) or the new books are delayed in arriving, then I plan to read Death and the Girl Next Door.

Reading Plan #19












OMG OMG OMG! It has been ages since I did a Reading Plan post. Well it has been two week. But oh boy the past week has been hectic. Ok so I have moved back to Uni and, in the UK, everyone, other than first years, live in privately rented accommodation. That is houses/flats not owned by the university; you have a landlord, you pay bills e.t.c. So I moved in on the 24th September but we are without broadband until the 10th October. I am currently using up my mobile data to write this post. All my other posts have been written and scheduled using the wonders that is the Uni library.

 So not only was I moving in two weeks ago but then my first week of second year was last week. It was also one of my busiest weeks for the blog that I have had so far. I thought it wouldn't be a problem. Internet at home, it would all be good. Stupid Internet providers. It is something to do with the previous tenant's contract. Anyway I managed to get all my posts up so yay! Hopefully things will calm down a bit now.

On the Blog Last Two Weeks

 See what I mean by busy. That many posts in two weeks. I am exhausted. Thankfully work hasn't really piled up ... yet. I can put up more Banned Books I Enjoyed. I have a few more. Just ask if you want me to write them.
What I Have Just Finished 

 Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr
 
 I went into this book with a few trepidations. It wasn't get the best set of reviews in the world plus it is written by Melissa Marr, who didn't wow me with her debut novel Wicked Lovely. 

 My trepidations were unfounded. I loved this book! I read most of it in a coffee shop. My coffee got cold. I couldn't stop reading.

The Truth About Faking by Leigh T. Moore

I have been reading so many contemporaries recently that maybe it isn't the best of ideas to read this book now. But I did tell the author I would try and read her book soon. We will see. If I start getting fed up because I am not in the mood for a contemporary, I will stop and get back to it. I don't want to give the author a negative review just because I wasn't in the mood for her book.

To Read Next

Shade (Shade #1) by Jeri Smith-Ready

I have had my eye on this series for ages but I have just never got round to reading it until now. I hope it lives up to my expectations. If it is really good I am easily read the sequels. The benefits all the books being released.

Reading Plan #18












I am moving back to university today. However I will be without Internet for a week. The only access I will have is via my phone and if I take a bus ride to campus. Why? My Internet hasn't been installed yet. The earliest they could do was the 2nd October so I have to wait until the then. I still plan to have posts written, scheduled and posted but meme's might not happen as those are usually written only a day in advance. We will see.

On the Blog Last Week
 I plan to watch and review The Perks of Being a Wallflower movie when it is released in the UK cinemas. I may then do a book/movie comparison post.

What I Have Just Finished 
At What Cost by J. Andersen

I enjoyed this book. My review is scheduled for the 20th September (this Thursday) as part of the blog tour.


Currently Reading
The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle #1) by Maggie Steifvater

It got off to a little bit of a slow start but it is really starting to pick up now. Definitely has some magic concepts that I have not come across much before. I looking forward to seeing where this book takes me.

To Read Next
Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rache Cohn and David Levithan

I received this book for review as it is getting published in the UK by Mira Ink. It looks like a light hearted fun read. I am looking forward to this one.
