Reading Plan #14: Which Book Do I Read Next?

I know I didn't have a Reading Plan last week. That was because it would have been identical as the week before that. I suffered a bit of a reading slump during the Olympics fortnight (it is not every year the Olympics comes to your country) and I kind of got swept up in it. I am slowly getting out of it now.

On the Blog Last Week
I am aware that the giveway says 'Contest Over'. I do not know why it has done that because I set it to end on the 15/9/12 which is the date it still says it is set to on the Rafflecopter website. I have contacted Rafflecopter but it happened yesterday. I didn't expect a response on Sunday. Hopefully I can sort it out soon because people have already entered and I don't want to create a new widget.

I also was going to have a review up for Unravelling by Elizabeth Norris yesterday as well but my computer deleted it before I could finish editing e.t.c. I haven't had time to re-do it but I expect it up soon. Sunday wasn't a good day for software.

What I Have Just Finished
Losing Lila (Lila #2) by Sarah Alderson

This was the book that I was reading during the slump and therefore took me 10 days to read. If the Olympics wasn't on I would have probably read if faster as I really enjoyed it. Go check out the Lila series. It is pretty epic!

 Currently Reading

Defiance (Defiance #1) by C.J. Redwine
Goodreads - - Book Depository

I got this as an ARC and I am enjoying at the moment. It is one of those books that keeps you on your toes. Normally there comes a point where you think you know where the book is going or how things will pan out. Don't assume anything here.

To Read Next

This is a very good question. When I'm getting out of a slump I don't tend to stick to my original plan but now I don't know which book to read next. I thought you guys could help me decide.

Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
Goodreads - - Book Depository

Once Burned (Night Prince #1) by Jeaniene Frost
Something Like Normal by Trish Doller

Between the Lines (Between the Lines #1) by Tammara Webber

Maybe you could tell me in the comments which one you would recommend, if you have read any, or which one you would choose to read. If you haven't heard of any of these books before you can click one of the links which will lead to a synopsis. I think they all look really good.

  1. Can't wait to see what you think of some of these books. That sucks about rafflecopter. When it's fixed I will for sure enter.

  2. We got sucked into the Olympics here, too. Definitely ate into reading time.

  3. Ooh, I am beyond excited about Defiance! Can't wait to read your review. Also, I adored PTL, hope you end up enjoying it too. =)

  4. OOh! I'd say Once Burned! I still have to read it but I look oh so forward to doing so!

    Here's my Monday Wrapup

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower :)

  5. I definitely hit a reading slump during the Olympics - I was obsessed and watched like everything on tv. I can't even imagine if I were actually there!!

    1. Oh I took advantage. I managed to get tickets to three different events. I was shocked. It was amazing!!

  6. I've read both Something Like Normal and Catching Jordan, so I'd recommend either of those. I loved both of them.

  7. Ahhh, I want to read Defiance!!

I have Once Burned to read, too. Love her books.

  8. Losing Lila looks pretty spectacular - a lot of the reviews are really great for it.

Have a great week :) The Brunette Librarian's Blog

  9. Several of these look intriguing.

  10. I love reading your blog on Mondays so that I can hear about YA books I don't hear about on my other blogs- thank you.

    Happy reading this week! :)

  11. I've seen Defiance pop up a lot lately, I'm interested in reading it but then my TBR is so alarmingly huge that I shouldn't add anymore to the list. I was reading Between the Lines but I lost interest in it. I vote for Something Like Normal, it's a book I've been wanting to read.

I read and appreciate every comment that I receive. Thank you :D
