Feature and Follow #3

Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favourite author?
That is a very tricky question!

If I got to meet one of my favourite authors, I would probably not be able to say anything at all. Yep, I would stand there, like an idiot, only being able to murmur "I love you!"

I know. I know. Not original. But when put in that situation I don't know what I would say. I guess it will be something in the moment.

I'm going to be seeing Cassandra Clare, in June, for a book reading. She is one of my absolute, all time, favourite authors and I am soo excited!!!!! I guess we will find out then. :)

What would you say if you met your favourite author?

    I couldn't pick just a single author, so I ended up cheating a little - though I think you're right, I'd probably actually end up all tongue-tied and shy - which would be really unusual for me!

    I used to go to a lot of book signings and I was ALWAYS super awkward. I expect they are used to it... I hope. :) Old follower.

      Yeh :D she is coming over to the UK to do research for Clockwork Princess and, while she is here, she will be stopping in London and at the Hay festival in Wales. I'm seeing her in Wales. Can't Wait!

    Ahh! Cassandra Clare. I haven't met her yet, but I would absolutely love to (which reminds me... I should look up her tour schedule...). Do you read both the MI and the ID series? Love them.

      Yes I do read both TMI and ID and I love them both! Cassandra Clare is amazing! She is coming to the UK, not for a tour, but to do research for Clockwork Princess. She is popping into a couple of places while she is here.

    I agree, its so much easier to write out what you would say, but if I actually saw my fave author I wouldnt be able to talk either!!!!
