It's Monday! What are you reading? #3

Hosted by Book Journey

This week has been so up and down, mostly down. I have exams this week, my first is on Wednesday and I feel totally unprepared. Fortunately I got a lot of reading done. After revising most of the day, I didn't want to do anything other than kick back in bed and read. Usually for about three hours before dropping off. :) However, as free time is dedicated to reading, I have not been able to write up many book reviews. I am now up to four on my list. This is not good! I have the notes for them. They just don't make much sense to anyone, other than me, at the moment. So bare with me guys but I will have reviews for:

Black Dawn by Rachel Caine
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins

hopefully up soon when I get a bit more free time. When ever that may be.

On the Blog Last Week

As I just mentioned, very limited in terms of book reviews. I only had one.

What I Have Just Finished

Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy #1) by Wendy Higgins

I have heard some amazing things about this book so I had high expectation for it. Was this book amazing in my opinion? No. I will explain in more detail in my review but I believe definitely had the potential to be amazing. I loved the plot, the mythology and the characters. I just didn't like the way it was portrayed to me as a reader. 4/5 stars. Review will be up I promise just probably not tomorrow.

Currently Reading

Intangible (Intangible #1) by J.Meyers
I got this book, for review, this week, from the author so thank you again.  I have only started it last night, but I am enjoying it and interested to know what going to happen.
To Read Next

Enchanted by Alethea Kontis
Another book that I got this week, as seen in my Stacking the Shelves post. I looking forward to starting this one as I want to explore more fairytale retellings. I really enjoyed Cinder by Marissa Meyer recently; a retelling of Cinderella. Enchanted is a retelling of The Princess and the Frog.

What books are you reading and/or planning to read? I'd love to hear in the comments. It will cheer me up during brakes in revision. :)
